发现时间总是很紧张。但其实没有停止阅读美报。
这几天纽约时报关注的是一个起重机倒塌的事故，在曼哈顿的上东区，调查组今天的进展是可能是起重机的设备问题，估计是焊接的问题（基本排除了人为操作失误的因素）。有两人在这起事故中丧生。我关注的不仅是媒体（特别是纽约时报）对这个事件的报道，更加关注的是，媒体的责任感和对新闻的持续挖掘能力。例如，今天的纽约时报网站把2008年纽约地区发生大型机械事故的100多个地点，全部标注在地图上了，专门供读者下载，看看人家这媒介安全做的。经过这些地方显然是要小心了，而且还将报道纽约正在施工和重型设备的位置。
地图做的很棒，可以放大缩小，无法抓取过来。同时在地图旁标注了事故地点，可以分享一下。

自己也认真读书了，看到一篇老文章，说媒介责任是个很虚无的话题，写得真棒！到底什么是媒介的责任，唉，学术就怕认真二字。凡是大家都普遍认为是真理的，往往也是谬误所存啊。
上午去汽车保养，不想在途中被追尾，还是三车追尾。可怜本来可以马上完成的保养要等到明天了。好在别人全责。
